Our group has looked at the possibility of KSEVT functioning as a venue for a site-specific dining experience. In collaboration with the management of KSEVT and the local Restaurant Gastuž, we have carefully analysed the sensorial and spatial qualities of KSEVT as a building in relation to its programatic activities. As a result, we have designed a set of experiences of eating, where the classial notion of dining is being challenegd by the building’s architecture and where the topic of gravity plays a pivotal role in how you consume your food. On the other hand, this rigorous research has also stimulated our collaborating team of chefs to re-interpet their local cuisine and to create site-specific dishes, made exclusively for KSEVT.
